Famed gospel singer Kevin Downswell is gearing up to grace multiple stages for the third instalment of his Realignment tour – Realignment Chapter 3. More than a caravan of evangelists performing at multiple locations across the island, the tour also allows the reigning Jamaican King of Gospel to leave lasting impressions on the lives of the neglected, traumatised and underprivileged children, their parents, teachers, schools and soon entire communities.
As in previous years, proceeds from the event will support various projects and programmes at select schools and children’s homes. This includes the continued renovation of a reading room at Downswell’s alma mater – Ferris Primary School in Savanna-la-Mar; and the implementation of a Big Brother/Big Sister programme, in partnership with the Child Protective and Family Services Agency, at the Ocho Rios High School.
