Jerk Chicken Sausage Jambalaya

  • 5 Best Dressed Jerked Chicken Sausages, sliced diagonally
  • 1 packet Spanish rice
  • ½ cup White wine
  • ½ cup yellow bell peppers chopped
  • ½ cup red bell peppers chopped
  • ½ cup yellow onions chopped
  • Cilantro
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
Jerk Chicken Sausage Jambalaya
  • In a separate pan, prepare your packet of Spanish rice as per the package directions.
  • After you have prepared the vegetables and sausages, add to skillet at medium heat.
  • Add oil and then your Jerked Chicken Sausages.
  • Once the sausages have browned a bit, add garlic, peppers and onions. Add white wine to deglaze the pot and collect all the flavors. Allow the alcohol to cook off. This should take about one minute.
  • Sauté for about one minute.
  • By now your rice should be fully cooked. Add it to the pot and mix it all together.
  • Season with salt and pepper to your taste.
  • Sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
  • Serve and enjoy.
  • You can cook the rice in your rice cooker while preparing your vegetables to save time
  • You can add avocado, fried plantains, sour cream or some seafood to spice up your dish.
