  • 2 thick slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices of black forest ham
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Open Faced Ham & Egg Sandwich
  • Brush the bread with the butter and mustard and toast until golden brown.
  • In a non-stick pan, heat the olive oil and fry the eggs for about 2 minutes on medium heat.
  • Remove the eggs and add the ham slices. Cook until slightly crisp.
  • To assemble, top the bread with the 2 ham slices each and 1 egg then sprinkle with the salt and pepper.
