Tandoori Drumsticks

  • 14 drumsticks
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 olive oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 thumb of ginger
  • Juice of 1 lime
Tandoori Drumsticks
  • In a small pan, warm the spices for about 2 minutes on medium low heat.
  • In a large bowl, add the spices to the yogurt and oil. Coat the chicken with the marinade and leave in the fridge overnight.
  • Heat the oven to 400F and place the drumsticks on a baking tray. Bake the drumsticks for about 40 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
  • After 40 minutes, broil the drumsticks for about a minute or until the skin is crisp.
  • Top with 1 tbsp of chopped cilantro.
