Jerk Sausage Pasta in Creamy Coconut Sauce

  • 3-4 Hamilton’s Smokehouse Jerk Sausages
  • 400g pasta
  • 3 cups coconut milk
  • 1 medium sweet pepper, julienned
  • 1oz jerk seasoning
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Basil (as needed)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil/vegetable oil, as needed
  • Parmesan cheese, optional
Jerk Sausage Pasta in Creamy Coconut Sauce
  • Cook pasta according to packaging instructions, then drain.
  • Slice Hamilton’s Smokehouse Jerk Sausage.
  • Place skillet over medium high heat, then saute onion, garlic and jerk seasoning in oil.
  • Add sliced Hamilton’s Smokehouse Jerk Sausage and sweet pepper then continue to sauté.
  • Add coconut milk to skillet and allow to simmer.
  • Add pasta, continue to simmer, then add salt, black pepper and basil as needed.
  • Remove from stove and serve hot!
